Update: New USB-c cable and the problem is back.
I have even tried the old USB cable on other consoles and as a phone charger which works perfectly.
This time with my attention on the low battery messages that keep popping up on the screen, I gently wiggle the cable at the top of the PS5 controller and the messages start displaying.
I hold it to one angle they stop.
I move it to another angle and it disconnects.
Now what could it be? A faulty usb-c port on the controller or what?
Again, this all started after the last controller update and I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions.
I’m at a loss as this is seriously annoying.
I’ll post an update if a find a solution.
